Today was a special day for Honor, as the Chinese company introduced its Honor 8 Pro flagship killer in Europe. Along with the smartphone announcement, Honor debuted a beta program for customers in the United States.

But there’s one more thing that got revealed earlier today at Honor’s event, a second smartphone. The Honor 6C has been officially announced today alongside the high-end Honor 8 Pro. The smartphone is supposed to hit the shelves in Europe for €229.

Specs-wise, the Honor 6C is a rebranded Huawei Enjoy 6s, a smartphone that was launched in China back in January. It will be available for purchase in three colors: Gold, Gray, and Silver.

Just like its Chinese counterpart, the new Honor 6C ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and EMUI 4.1 right out of the box. There’s no word on whether or not Honor plans to provide users with an Android Nougat update in the future.

The Honor 6C sports a 5-inch AMOLED display with HD (720p) resolution and fully supports dual-SIM and 4G LTE. On the inside, the handset packs a decent 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage (up to 128GB).

The 13-megapixel camera on the back features f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash, while the 5-megapixel snapper on the front side should be enough to take great selfies.

Honor’s mid-range phone is powered by a 3,020 mAh battery and has a fingerprint scanner on the back cover. The Honor 6C weighs only 138m and features an aluminum body.
