Harrowing CCTV footage reveals the moment a mum tried to hand her two-year-old daughter to a worker at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
Desperate Jessica Wilson said she was trying to keep the child out of the hand’s her father who was trying to abduct her.
Camera images show Wilson pushing the girl towards the employee who apparently said: “Hand the child to me”
But Levenski Crossty, the girl’s biological father, managed to pull her back and drove off, a court in Cincinnati has heard.
Wilson was left stranded and begging someone to call 999.
Prosecutors say Crossty subjected Wilson to “a night of terror” in July 2016.
He allegedly broke into her home and carried out a brutal assault leaving her with bruises, bleeding and bite marks.
Wilson says she then woke up in his car with her four children, including the 2-year-old.
They drove around for hours, with Crossty continuing his attacks.
“He kept hitting me, wouldn’t stop,” Wilson said.
She told a court they stopped at McDonald’s because she told him the children needed food.
Crossty is charged with felonious assault, theft and multiple counts of abduction and kidnapping.
His defence team argue he did not kidnap the children, but was protecting them from Wilson who was drunk.
He admits a minor domestic ssault charge.
