The svelte metallic design is expected to return, and the latest rumor calls for a 9.7-inch screen to grace two variants of the device. One will be Wi-Fi only (SM-T820), while the other will feature both Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity (SM-T825). The Exynos 7420 chipset could be under the hood, carrying an octa-core CPU. 4GB of RAM is rumored to be inside, while a fingerprint scanner is embedded in the home button. A USB Type-C port is on board.
Supporting the rumors that the tablet will be introduced next month in Barcelona, the device has recently received its FCC certification. Documents from the FCC show the model with both Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity (SM-T825), and the sketch reveals a single rear-facing camera lens near the top of the back. The FCC ID will be found on the bottom of the tablet’s rear cover.
If the new rumors are true, we are now less than a month away from seeing the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 become official at MWC. Try to remain patient until then.
