While it may be one of Hollywood’s smaller award shows, the AFIs certainly brought out a who is who of the big and small screen.

The on-screen lovers from La La land – which was recognized at the event – were joined by the likes of Michelle Williams, Amy Adams, Clint Eastwood and even Emma’s former beau Andrew Garfield.
Emma decided to take a big fashion risk at the awards wearing a very unusual suede dress.
The AFI Awards honors 10 films and 10 television programs deemed ‘culturally and artistically representative of the year’s most significant achievements in the art of the moving image’.
The honorees were announced last month and this year the films to fit the impressive criteria included La La Land, Arrival, Fences, Hackshaw Ridge, Hell Or High Water and Manchester By The Sea.

Michelle chose an off-white, long sleeve peplum blouse for the star-studded event that showcased the pint-sized actress’s slender pins.
Attending to represent Manchester by the Sea in which she stars, Williams’ short, platinum blonde hair was fashioned in a cute pixie style.
